머클 트리 Merkle tree

이름 풀이: 머클(Merkle, 사람 이름)의 나무(tree)

해시 값을 둘씩 묶어 해시하고, 나온 값을 다시 둘씩 묶어 하나가 남을 때까지 되풀이하는 구조. 마지막 하나가 머클 루트다. 비트코인은 블록의 거래를 이렇게 묶어, 거래 하나만 고쳐도 머클 루트가 달라지게 한다.
