머클 루트 Merkle root

이름 풀이: 머클(Merkle, 사람 이름) 트리의 뿌리(root)

블록에 든 모든 거래의 해시 값을 둘씩 묶어 거듭 해시해 얻은 해시 값 하나. 블록 헤더에 들어 있어, 거래 하나만 고쳐도 헤더가 달라진다.
