고아 블록 orphan block

이름 풀이: 부모 없는(orphan) 블록(block)

부모 블록(앞 블록)을 아직 받지 못해 검증할 수 없는 블록. 부모가 와서 검증될 때까지 기다린다. 채굴은 됐지만 가장 좋은 체인에 들지 못한 스테일 블록(stale block)을 이렇게 부르기도 하는데, 둘은 다른 것이다.
